Torah Study
Come join your Mosaic friends for an interactive, conversation-filled, and thought-provoking Jewish text study
session on Shabbat afternoon. All are welcome--no special knowledge is needed.
Saturday Afternoon from 1:30 pm to 2:40 PM.
Wildlife Educational Program
Representatives from the Pocono Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center will join us with
several educational ambassador animals to deliver an informative program. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization,
Pocono Wildlife's mission is to "Rescue, Rehabilitate, Release." Last year, they cared for over
3,000 animals, ranging from field mice to bald eagles and everything in between. This program offers a unique
opportunity to meet various animals native to Northeast Pennsylvania up close while learning about their habits,
care, and diet.
Saturday 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm
Photography Workshop
Yes, you can take better photos! Learn to apply a few new techniques to enhance the quality of your images and
showcase the beauty of your outdoor activities to friends and family. We will use our beautiful campground in
the Poconos as the backdrop for our workshop, where we will capture numerous photos with a variety of lighting,
perspectives, and compositions. We will also talk about editing to select the best pictures for your audience.
You don't need a traditional camera with numerous buttons; many of us use our smartphones instead. If you
don't own a camera, feel free to join us, and you might be the subject of some portrait photography. We
will meet outside the Dining Hall at 8:30 am and stroll around the camp to practice using a variety of scenes,
refining our photo-taking techniques.
